Hadih! I'm Denise Halfyard. I am a  proud Wet'suwet'en, Tsimshian, Gitxsan Voice Actor from the Laksilyu clan, which means Small Frog in Wet'suwet'en.

I am a co-owner of Halfyard Productions. I am also the Executive Assistant for the Tears to Hope Society, a non-profit organization that supports the families of our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG). I am also the founder and CEO of The Frog Radio, a 24 hour online station dedicated to Indigenous music of all genres from across Turtle Island.

 

I feel it's so important as Indigenous people, we share our culture and raise awareness for important social issues with those around us, teaching those willing to listen and learn. This is reconciliation.

I'm a professional voice actor specializing in commercial, E-Learning, corporate scrips and audiobooks. My voice has been described as soothing with a friendly, informative style that is perfectly suited to long form projects.
